Scripps Debuts New Surgical Robots

Scripps Mercy Hospital hosted an open house to showcase one of two state-of-the-art da Vinci Surgical Systems recently acquired through philanthropic gifts by the Minimally Invasive Robotic Surgery on July 15, 2009. This new surgical system represents the most advanced robotic technology available anywhere today and provides surgeons with the ability to perform highly complex surgeries through very small incisions.
