Scripps Mercy Hospital Gives a Lesson in Hand Washing

Keeping hands clean is one of the best ways to avoid getting the seasonal and H1N1 flu. Scripps Health experts recommend washing hands by using warm water and soap, and rubbing for at least 20 seconds before rinsing. Alcohol-based hand sanitizers are also effective.
