Cardiac Patients Stay Healthy by Working Out Frequently

CBS Channel 8 reporter Jeff Zevely joined a dedicated group of seniors in the Cardiac Treatment Center at Scripps Memorial Hospital La Jolla. These cardiac “kids” — who all take part in Cardiac Rehabilitation — showed him how regular exercise in a medically supervised environment and the benefits of a supportive and social atmosphere have led to longer, healthier and happier lives.
