A recent article published on the front page of the U-T San Diego Health section outlined for readers information on emerging trends in physical therapy and rehabilitation, as well as details on new technology that offers promising results for patients.

As more emphasis continues to be placed on keeping individuals healthy and out of the hospital, “we will see more focus on prevention rather than strictly on rehab or treating the patient after they become ill or injured,” said Tim Goldberg, physical therapist at Scripps Memorial Hospital Encinitas in his interview for the story.
