Hematologist and oncologist Darren Sigal, MD of Scripps Clinic appeared on KUSI-TV News to discuss challenges and advancements in the treatment of pancreatic cancer. November is national pancreatic cancer awareness month, a time for the public to learn more about a disease that will claim approximately 40,000 lives in the U.S. in 2014.

Scripps Clinic’s pancreas and biliary cancer program has been recognized as a center of excellence by the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network.
