Scripps Expert Discusses Restless Legs Syndrome on KUSI TV

Scripps Clinic neurologist J. Steven Poceta, MD, recently appeared on KUSI TV’s morning news program to discuss restless legs syndrome, a debilitating condition that doesn’t always get the deference it deserves.

Dr. Poceta was joined by one of his patients, Caroline Chamales, who talked about a local support group that she created through Scripps for people with the disorder.

The Scripps Clinic Viterbi Family Sleep Center was recently designated as one of eight Quality Care Centers by the Restless Legs Syndrome Foundation.
