Prominent philanthropist Conrad Prebys passed away on July 24, and a wide range of media outlets covered the indelible mark he made with his generosity.
Prebys made significant gifts to Scripps Health, including $45 million for the Prebys Cardiovascular Institute at Scripps Memorial Hospital La Jolla and $10 million for the Conrad Prebys Emergency and Trauma Center at Scripps Mercy Hospital San Diego.
