A recent La Jolla Light article about the ongoing hepatitis A outbreak in San Diego County included comments from Scripps Clinic Rancho Bernardo family medicine specialist Mark Shalauta, MD.
Dr. Shalauta said frequent hand washing is a good way to reduce your risk of picking up the virus.
