S&P Affirms Scripps AA Rating with Stable Outlook

Standard & Poor’s Global Ratings has affirmed a AA rating with a stable outlook for Scripps Health.  

S&P cited Scripps’ “strong and stable management team that has proven its ability to execute strategies and deliver strong results for many years” and noted the organization’s “strong financial and strategic planning practices.”

“We are pleased with S&P’s affirmation of our rating and outlook,” said Chris Van Gorder, president and CEO of Scripps Health. “It is indicative of their belief in the strength of Scripps, and in our ability to continue to meet the health care needs of this region into the future.”
