Coast News highlights performance treating heart failure, COPD

Scripps Memorial Hospital Encinitas was recently recognized as being “high performing” in the treatment of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), and heart failure by U.S. News & World Report.


The Coast News published an article that quoted Scott Eisman, MD, chief of staff at Scripps Encinitas, saying the recognition was the result of the "team-based approach to health care" at the North County hospital.
