Trauma Survivor Raises Awareness on Importance of Blood Donations

Fady Nasrallah, MD, a trauma surgeon at Scripps, recently joined former trauma patient and local TV sports anchor Kyle Kraska to raise awareness about the importance of donating blood.

Kraska donated blood at Scripps Memorial Hospital La Jolla, where he was treated for multiple gunshot wounds nearly four years ago, and announced a blood drive that will kick off Feb. 14 at Dave and Buster's in Mission Valley.
