Scripps Clinic weight management expert Ken Fujioka, MD, recently appeared on an edition of the KPBS radio program “Midday Edition” to discuss a new generation of weight loss drugs, which includes Ozempic and Wegovy.
Dr. Fujioka, who founded the Scripps Clinic Nutrition and Metabolic Research Center, explained how these medications work in the body and why they are different from previous weight loss treatments.
