Scripps Exit from MA Deemed a Success

Two years after Scripps Health left provider networks in Medicare Advantage health insurance plans, senior executives with the health system told Becker’s recently that the difficult move has proven to be a wise one. 

Many patients affected by the change opted to stay with Scripps, said President and CEO Chris Van Gorder, and numerous other health systems around the country have now followed Scripps’ lead.
