Biography

Family medicine physician Cynthia Wilson, DO, provides comprehensive primary care services for all ages, focusing on preventive and integrative medicine. Dr. Wilson brings over 10 years of experience as a full-spectrum family medicine provider to Scripps, including expertise in dermatology, sports medicine, women’s health and adolescent health. She performs a wide range of office-based procedures, such as skin biopsies, joint injections and birth control planning, and is open to all cultural and religious backgrounds.


As a holistic physician, Dr. Wilson loves to work with patients to find the combination of traditional medical treatments, integrative medicine and lifestyle modifications that fits their unique needs. She believes that maintaining a balanced life is key to health and happiness.


A world traveler, Dr. Wilson is passionate about integrating her international experiences, such as a two-year stint in Chile, into her daily practice and appreciates caring for the Spanish-speaking population. 


When not seeing patients or traveling, Dr. Wilson stays active running, biking and backpacking. She enjoys spending time with her husband and daughters, particularly in the outdoors and participating in a variety of sports.
