Gillian (Gil) Galloway, MD, is a general surgeon who is fellowship trained in advanced laparoscopic surgery. He treats conditions such as hernias, gallbladder disease, breast cancer, colon and rectal cancer, hemorrhoids and all diseases of the abdomen.
Dr. Galloway uses the latest techniques and technology to perform minimally invasive surgery, including laparoscopy and robotic surgery. He works closely with patients to develop a good working relationship so as to optimize surgical results and avoid further surgery whenever possible.
Dr. Galloway has been in practice for 25 years in the San Diego North County area.
Dr. Galloway is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons and the International College of Surgeons. He is a member of the American Hernia Society and the Society of Gastrointestinal and Endoscopic Surgeons.
In his spare time Dr. Galloway is an avid surfer and works as a physician for the World Surfing Association Contests. He has surfed all over the world and speaks several foreign languages.
