Janhavi Murthy, MD

Dr. Janhavi Murthy is an obstetrician and gynecologist, dedicated to providing comprehensive women’s health care from adolescence through menopause. She provides comprehensive care for a wide range of obstetric and gynecologic issues, including preventative care, abnormal pap smear management, abnormal uterine bleeding, contraception management and high-risk pregnancies.

Dr. Murthy is experienced in both the medical and surgical management of common women’s health concerns. She offers her patients non-surgical solutions whenever possible and performs minimally invasive procedures when surgery is needed, aiming to support recovery and enhance patient comfort.

Since beginning her medical practice in 2018, Dr. Murthy has developed a patient-centered approach to both obstetric and gynecologic care. She prioritizes clear, compassionate communication to help patients understand their health concerns and treatment options. Dr. Murthy believes that an active partnership between physician and patient is key to achieving successful health outcomes and promoting long-term wellness.

In addition to general gynecology, Dr. Murthy is dedicated to guiding expectant mothers through both routine and high-risk pregnancies. She is experienced in managing conditions that may arise during pregnancy and is skilled in providing comprehensive care for mothers, with referrals to perinatology specialists as needed. She also offers a full range of contraceptive options and provides guidance on fertility health, with referrals to infertility specialists as needed.

Dr. Murthy believes the best patient care stems from mutual respect and open dialogue, empowering patients to take an active role in their health journey. Her goal is to provide the information and support her patients need to make informed decisions and to take ownership of their well-being.

Outside of her medical practice, Dr. Murthy enjoys spending time with her family and staying active outdoors. Balancing her personal passions with her professional life allows her to bring energy and dedication to every patient interaction.
