Raymond Plodkowski, MD, is a weight management and nutrition specialist, focused on alleviating health complications for overweight patients. He also has interests in endocrinology and metabolism.
Dr. Plodkowski believes that weight management is the key to long-term health. Many common medical problems, such as high blood pressure, diabetes, elevated cholesterol levels, sleep apnea, and joint pain, can be prevented or treated by achieving a healthy weight. He also strongly believes in thoroughly explaining the underlying causes of medical problems, so that people can better understand their treatment plan.
In his spare time he stays active by hiking, mountain biking and kayaking. He also enjoys photography and watching his sons play their sports of golf and fencing.
