Biography
Robert (Clint) Morehead, MD, is an internal medicine specialist with a strong focus on hospice and palliative medicine. Dr. Morehead believes in treating the whole person.
Dr. Morehead has an interest in incorporating reflective writing into undergraduate and graduate medical education in an effort to produce a new generation of thoughtful, empathetic doctors.
He is a recipient of the Al Smith Fellowship for Creative Nonfiction from the Kentucky Arts Council and National Endowment for the Arts. In 2008, he founded The Kentucky Books for Patients Project, a non-profit that places books by Kentucky writers in cancer centers across the state. His own work has been published in journals and produced in an anthology of essays for National Public Radio.
When he is not caring for patients, he enjoys running, hiking and writing.
