Scripps fitness center in La Jolla offers gym, pool, track and exercise classes

The Scripps Shiley Sports and Fitness Center in La Jolla offers a full exercise gym, outdoor heated 25-yard lap pool, outdoor walk/jog track, specialized exercise programming and group exercise classes.


Located next door to Scripps Clinic Torrey Pines, between I-5 and Torrey Pines State Park, the fitness center offers a wide range of classes and equipment along with certified personal trainers and class instructors.

Self-parking is free for Shiley Sports and Fitness Center members and disabled visitors. Visitors with disabilities must present their placards to parking gate attendants. Shiley Sports and Fitness Center members can receive validation at the fitness center.


Scripps charges for parking after 30 minutes. We also offer valet parking for a flat fee. Our rates are as follows: 


  • First 30 minutes: Free
  • 31 minutes to 4 hours: $6
  • 4 hours to all day: $12
  • Maximum per day: $12
  • Valet parking: $8

The Shiley Sports and Health Center offers Scripps patients and the San Diego community continuum of care health and wellness programming as post intervention and preventive care. These services provide the necessary resources and tools to empower those looking to improve their overall quality of life.
