Scripps Announces Plan to Build Regional Medical Campus
On Nov. 17, Scripps Health announced plans to expand Scripps Memorial Hospital La Jolla into a regional medical campus. The plans will include three new hospital towers, medical offices, research and graduate medical education facilities and an outpatient pavilion. Ground breaking on the first tower is scheduled for June 2011.
