FM Jazz 88 Previews In Concert for Cancer, Set for Sept. 8

Contemporary jazz pioneer Jeff Lorber was interviewed Aug. 19 on FM Jazz 88 to discuss his Sept. 8 performance at In Concert for Cancer 2012, presented by United Healthcare. His band, Jeff Lorber Fusion featuring Eric Marienthal, will open for funk legends The Family Stone on the flight deck of the USS Midway Museum. Concert proceeds will benefit cancer survivorship programs at Scripps Cancer Center.
