'5 Healthcare CEOs Who Tweet Well' Include Scripps' Chris Van Gorder

The news website MD+DI suggests following Scripps Health President and CEO Chris Van Gorder and four other industry leaders on Twitter.

MD+DI notes that the online social network “has become a tool for communication for even busy CEOs who understand the importance of setting the agenda, forwarding their company’s business interests and show(ing) off their personality.”

Van Gorder, who tweets from the handle @ChrisDVanGorder, was joined on the list by Medtronic CEO Omar Ishrak (@MedtronicCEO), Athenahealth CEO Jonathan Bush (@Jonathan_Bush), Aetna CEO Mark Bertolini (@mtbert) and Livestrong CEO Doug Ulman (@livestrongceo).

“Van Gorder . . . tweets about how the model of health care is changing of course, but he also tweets about specific conditions such as Alzheimer’s and colon cancer,” MD+DI reported.
