U-T San Diego Profiles Poignant Story of Scripps Donor-Turned-Patient

During the last 15 years, Carlsbad resident Jane Carroll has helped raise more than $12 million to benefit cancer care at Scripps Health. Last year, she found herself in need of those very services when she was diagnosed with breast cancer. Thanks to her “dream team” of doctors at Scripps, Jane is healthy and set to be honored at Scripps’ annual Spinoff fundraiser for cancer care on May 8.
