Ten months after Scripps Health launched a telemedicine service for employees and their immediate family members, monthly consultations are running between 60 to 80 a month, according to Anil Keswani, MD, Scripps’ corporate vice president for ambulatory care and population health management.

Dr. Keswani discussed the service provided through MDLIVE during a recent interview with the online news outlet Physicians News Network.

Scripps is evaluating a variety of new ways to deliver health services to patients, he said. “We want to be where patients want us to be.”
