“The Front-Line Leader” book by Chris Van Gorder, CEO of Scripps Health in San Diego, California, is now available.  Notable book reviews were received on Chris’ philosophy of putting people first, his management tips,  and how he successfully implemented what he learned to build strong relationships and a strong organization.

Those who pick up Scripps Health President and CEO Chris Van Gorder’s book, “The Front-Line Leader,” will find it to be “a relatively breezy read, full of personal anecdotes that bolster his suggestions for building strong relationships throughout an organization to help it thrive,” according to a review of the new release by the San Diego Daily Transcript.

“Chris demonstrates that relationships thrive on proximity, openness and even personal vulnerability,” American Hospital Association President and Chief Executive Richard Umbdenstock told the news outlet.
