Scripps Researcher to Edit New Cancer Journal

Dr. Kelly Bethel is one of four founding editors of interdisciplinary journal about cancer research

New journal, “The Convergence Science Physical Oncology,” is currently inviting submissions from across the physical oncology community. Co-founded by Scripps Clinical Pathologist and researcher, Dr. Kelly Bethel, the journal will serve researchers in attacking the problem of cancer from new angles.

Scripps Clinic pathologist and researcher Kelly Bethel, MD, is co-founding editor of a new journal that, according to the UT San Diego, aims to bring together a wide range of cancer research disciplines and offer a broad physical science perspective in its editorial content.


“This new journal developed by IOP Publishing will serve researchers who are attacking the problem of cancer from new and innovative angles originating in the fields of physical sciences such as engineering, mathematics and physics,” said Dr. Bethel.


The Convergence Science Physical Oncology journal is currently inviting submissions from across the physical oncology community.
