Dr. Darryl D'Lima awared $7.6 million to further cartilage repair

Researchers at Scripps Health have been awarded a $7.6 million grant from the California Institute of Regenerative Medicine (CIRM) that will support ongoing research to repair damage to knee cartilage and bone. The funding will help to further research taking place at the Shiley Center for Orthopedic Research and Education (SCORE) at Scripps Clinic under the direction of Darryl D’Lima, MD, director of orthopedic research at Scripps Health.
