STSI Partners with NIDA on Drug Addiction Research App Contest
Competition will award $100,000 to three winners

Steven Steinhubl, MD, director of digital medicine at the Scripps Translational Science Institute (STSI), has teamed up with the National Institute on Drug Abuse (NIDA) to help develop a smartphone app for drug addiction research.
Dr. Steinhubl worked with NIDA on the request for applications from app developers wishing to participate in the institute’s Addiction Research: There’s an App for That challenge. He also will help evaluate proposals submitted by the competitors. Three winners will split $100,000 in prize money.
