A newly expanded LVAD Ambassador program is pairing Scripps heart failure patients in line to be implanted with a left ventricular assist device with former LVAD patients who can share their knowledge, experience and friendship.
Scripps heart failure specialist J. Thomas Heywood, MD, and LVAD Ambassador Jim Bischoff discussed the program during a recent interview on KUSI TV.
