Media covers collaboration between Scripps and MD Anderson

The news media turned out in full force to cover the August 2016 announcement of a cancer care partnership between Scripps Health and MD Anderson Cancer Center. And coverage has continued during the ensuing months.

The two organizations will team up to form the Scripps MD Anderson Cancer Center, a comprehensive and clinically integrated cancer program in San Diego that will serve eight Southern California counties, from Santa Barbara to the U.S.-Mexico border.

The new program will build on Scripps’ already-strong cancer services by providing adult cancer patients with a wide variety of benefits, including local access to MD Anderson’s treatment protocols, standards of care and extensive lineup of clinical trials.
