New approaches can cut treatment times
September is National Prostate Cancer Awareness Month, and Peter Chen, MD, of Scripps Clinic appeared on the KUSI Morning News to discuss screening and treatment options for the disease. Dr. Chen, who practices at Scripps Radiation Therapy Center, explained two relatively new treatment approaches that can significantly reduce treatment times compared to conventional methods, while remaining highly effective for patients.
