Biography
Dr. Chen has been practicing radiation therapy since 2007. He provides compassionate, ethical care with the utmost respect for his patients’ goals and values, offering the best treatments available.
As a radiation oncologist, Dr. Chen provides non-invasive and minimally invasive radiotherapy techniques that play a primary role in the treatment of many types of cancer, including prostate, lung, breast, liver, central nervous system, genitourinary, skin and head and neck cancers. Radiation oncology can also improve patients’ quality of life through palliative treatments for symptoms such as pain, bleeding and shortness of breath.
His services include IMRT/IGRT, stereotactic body radiotherapy, radiotherapy/stereotactic ablative radiotherapy and brachytherapy. Dr. Chen’s current research interests include the application of novel radiotherapy techniques with targeted, systemic therapies for the treatment of various cancers.
When he is not practicing medicine, his hobbies include designing artwork for sunglasses, drawing, cooking, tennis and football.
