Annual mariachi festival fundraiser featured in local publications

The seventh annual Scripps Mercy Outreach Surgical Team (M.O.S.T.) Mariachi Festival recently raised nearly $300,000 to help fund humanitarian missions to Mexico.


The volunteer group M.O.S.T., which is based at Scripps Memorial Hospital San Diego, has been traveling to Mexico for more than 30 years to provide free corrective surgeries to poor children who have cleft palates, cleft lips, crossed-eyes and other conditions.
