Volunteers discuss charitable work and June 1 fundraiser on KUSI
Kent Diveley, MD, and Susana Verdugo-Ramos, both longtime members of the Scripps Mercy Outreach Surgical Team (MOST), recently discussed the volunteer group's humanitarian work in Mexico with KUSI. MOST has provided free, corrective surgeries for more than 30 years to poor children with cleft palates, cleft lips and other disfiguring conditions.
MOST is hosting the Eight Annual Mariachi Festival on June 1 at Humphreys Concerts By The Bay to help raise funds for its annual missions in Mexico's interior. Visit the Scripps Health Foundation website for more information about the event and to purchase tickets.
