A national discussion about lung cancer has gained momentum, after talk show host Rush Limbaugh recently revealed he has been diagnosed with an advanced form of the disease. Michael P. Kosty, MD, director of thoracic oncology at Scripps MD Anderson Cancer Center, appeared on KUSI TV to discuss how lung cancer treatments have evolved in recent years, leading to improved outcomes for many patients. Dr. Kosty is also a Scripps Clinic physician.
