Chief Medical Officer says Scripps hospitals are prepared

A number of local and national media outlets have reported on preparations being made by Scripps Health hospitals to deal with the new coronavirus.


Scripps Chief Medical Officer Ghazala Sharieff said patients are being screened for travel from China, supplies are being consolidated and the health system is helping to educate the public about risks posed by the new virus.
