Philanthropic gift is the largest in hospital’s history

News outlets recently covered a $25 million donation from philanthropists Warner and Debbie Lusardi to Scripps Memorial Hospital Encinitas. The gift will help fund a new acute care hospital tower and pulmonary institute at Scripps Encinitas. Site work on the project is expected to begin in 2022 and the first phase of the facility is expected to be open for patient care in 2025.
