Scripps MD Anderson expert stresses communication, support

Ramdev Konijeti, MD, of Scripps MD Anderson Cancer Center recently shared his insights for a WebMD article about how patients with advanced prostate cancer can self-advocate. He emphasized the importance of education, communication and emotional support and explained how a patient’s multidisciplinary care team can help. Dr. Konijeti is program director of the genitourinary program at Scripps MD Anderson and is a Scripps Clinic physician.
