A recent print and video story package from Reuters reporters that investigated the rising number of deaths among migrants crossing the border with Mexico featured the Scripps Mercy Hospital San Diego trauma center, which has seen a spike in border wall related cases over the past year.
“It’s been a constant stream. We’re getting more and more,” said Scripps Mercy chief trauma surgeon Vishal Bansal, MD.
