Local woman thriving after care at Scripps MD Anderson
Incidence of breast cancer in young women is rising in the United States, something San Diegan Sarah Cocker-Scott knows firsthand after being diagnosed at age 31. Following successful treatments at Scripps MD Anderson Cancer Center, she shared a key message in a recent story on NBC 7 News: see your doctor immediately if any unusual breast symptoms arise. Ray Lin, MD, also shared the latest advances in breast cancer care. Dr. Lin is a radiation oncologist with Scripps MD Anderson and is a Scripps Clinic physician.
