Today, Josue Ramos works as a respiratory therapist primarily caring for newborn babies at Scripps Memorial Hospital La Jolla. But 10 years ago, he was a high school senior and patient at the hospital who had a bedside graduation following emergency brain surgery.
Reporter Marie Coronel recently returned to the hospital to interview Josue a decade after reporting the original story about his unusual graduation.
