Kelly O’Connor takes leap of faith after surviving cancer

Kelly O’Connor recently survived breast cancer and returned to her career as a technology executive. But her mind kept going back to the lifesaving care she received at Scripps MD Anderson Cancer Center, and others currently undergoing and delivering care there. So she took a leap of faith, retiring from the executive suite to focus her attention as a volunteer at Scripps MD Anderson. The Rancho Bernardo News Journal recently covered O’Connor’s inspiring story, including insights from her medical oncologist, Carrie Costantini, MD, of Scripps MD Anderson and Scripps Clinic.
