Natasha Henson credits Tim Wang, MD, for her comeback
Local media outlets covered the inspiring comeback story of Natasha Henson, a Scripps nurse and competitive weightlifter who recently returned to action after shoulder surgery. Scripps Clinic orthopedic surgeon Tim Wang, MD, repaired tears to Henson’s labrum and bicep tendon, which play key roles in stabilizing the shoulder during lifts. Approximately one year after successful surgery and rehab, Henson is once again taking part in national weightlifting competitions.
