Scripps Memorial Hospital La Jolla Co-Sponsoring E-Bike Webinar for Parents

With a growing number of local communities enacting restrictions on the use of e-bikes by young people, the trauma services team at Scripps Memorial Hospital La Jolla has partnered with San Diego County Supervisor Terra Lawson-Remer to produce a free e-bike safety webinar specifically designed for parents. 

Scripps Memorial Hospital La Jolla injury prevention community outreach program coordinator Paige Colburn-Hargis said she will join Beth Black, author of “The Caring Parent’s E-Bike Survival Guide,” and others during the webinar to present a wide range of information and tips aimed at helping parents better navigate the use of these potentially dangerous vehicles.
