May is National Skin Cancer Awareness Month and Ben Kelley, MD, appeared on the KUSI Morning News to discuss the latest in prevention, early detection and treatment of melanoma and other skin cancers. He also spoke about free skin screenings that Scripps Health provides to ocean lifeguards, whose jobs put them at higher risk for skin cancers. Dr. Kelley is medical director of Mohs surgery at Scripps Cancer Center and is a Scripps Clinic physician.
