Ekaterina “Kate” Troitskaya, NP, is a family nurse practitioner specializing in general cardiology and electrophysiology with the Scripps Clinic Cardiology team in Carmel Valley. She works closely with the cardiology care team to provide comprehensive, coordinated and personalized care for patients with a broad range of cardiovascular needs.
With more than 17 years of patient care experience, Kate is dedicated to helping patients understand their heart health and feel supported throughout their care journey. She evaluates and manages common and complex cardiac conditions, including arrhythmias, coronary artery disease, heart failure, hypertension and valvular heart disease. She also has extensive experience caring for patients with implanted cardiac devices, such as pacemakers and defibrillators.
Before joining Scripps Health, Kate provided longitudinal care to general cardiology and electrophysiology patients at Stanford Health Care and Sutter Health. She began her nursing career in hospital-based medical and telemetry units, where she cared for patients with a wide range of cardiovascular and medical conditions.
Kate is bilingual in English and Russian and is committed to building trusted relationships with patients and their families.
