Internist Arta Shirkhodai, MD, provides comprehensive primary care services for adults, focusing on patient-centered care and preventive medicine. Dr. Shirkhodai’s goal is to use health measures, such as health screenings, to prevent issues and complications as much as possible and enable patients to live longer, happier and healthier lives. He has expertise in diagnosing and treating high blood pressure, diabetes, high cholesterol, sleep issues and weight loss as well as mental health conditions.


Dr. Shirkhodai encourages his patients to view themselves as the managers of their own health, and to view him as an instrument of knowledge and experience that serves to empower them to make more informed medical and health care decisions.


Having grown up on Maui, many of Dr. Shirkhodai’s hobbies involve being active and outdoors, which includes playing sports (soccer and tennis), hiking or going to the beach. He also enjoys reading, cooking and spending quality time with friends and family.
