Pediatrician Ann MacQuarrie, MD, provides primary care for newborns, children and adolescents, focusing on preventive medicine. Dr. MacQuarrie is passionate about mental health, nutrition and disease prevention.
Formerly a chief resident at Rady Children’s Hospital, Dr. MacQuarrie is dedicated to making a connection with each child and family. She believes that a trusting relationship between the child, the family and the pediatrician is crucial for quality care and develops this relationship through open communication, collaboration and an individualized approach to the care of each patient.
Dr. MacQuarrie is also diligent about providing information and resources to empower her patients and families so they can make the best health care decisions for their unique situation. Medical care can be challenging to navigate, and Dr. MacQuarrie is passionate about being an advocate for her patients.
When not seeing patients, Dr. MacQuarrie stays active hiking and backpacking. She also enjoys trying new food and restaurants, traveling and exploring new places.
