Biography

Harkaranveer (Harry) Ratanpal, DO, provides comprehensive primary care for all ages, including newborns and children. Dr. Ratanpal focuses on preventive care and performs a wide variety of in-office procedures, such as laceration repair, joint injections, biopsies, contraceptive implant placement and removal, and incision and drainage of abscesses. 


Dr. Ratanpal strives to treat the whole person and partners with his patients to identify and alleviate barriers to a healthy and productive life. His patient-centric approach incorporates shared decision-making to create meaningful relationships with patients and their families so that they may reach their health goals. He is passionate about medical education and health advocacy at the state and national level. 


When not seeing patients, Dr. Ratanpal enjoys working as an amateur mechanic, hiking, and spending time with his wife and daughter. As a native of Rancho Bernardo, he is dedicated to volunteering in the community that helped shape him into the person he is today.
