Nousha Hefzi, MD

Nousha Hefzi, MD, is dedicated to providing comprehensive care across the full spectrum of obstetrics and gynecology. Her clinical interests include general obstetrics, high-risk obstetrics, menopause and hormone therapy, infertility and adolescent gynecology, as well as supporting women throughout pregnancy and childbirth. 

She also provides family planning, contraception and preventive care, and is passionate about helping patients navigate pelvic pain and abnormal bleeding. Additionally, Dr. Hefzi specializes in gynecologic surgical procedures to enhance women’s quality of life, including minimally invasive procedures such as laparoscopy, hysteroscopy and robotic surgery. She strives to stay up to date on the latest medical advancements to help ensure patients receive the best evidence-based care possible. 

Dr. Hefzi believes in a partnership-based approach to healthcare and treats every patient relationship with empathy, understanding and a commitment to personalized care. Her ultimate goal is to ensure every patient feels heard, respected and confident in their health journey.

During her residency, Dr. Hefzi was involved in clinical research and teaching, including mentoring medical students and residents. She was honored to receive the Outstanding Resident Award from nursing staff and the High-Risk Obstetrics Award from the Society for Maternal-Fetal Medicine, recognizing her dedication to both patient care and education.

A native Californian, Dr. Hefzi spends her free time traveling, immersing herself in stories and different cultures, baking, reading and playing board games with friends and family. She finds joy in creating connections with others and learning about their unique experiences. These passions not only enrich her personal life but also inspire her approach to patient care.
